Giving Dollskill a Second Chance...

I don't know what possessed me to peek at dollskill, after avoiding the business following their "cancellation". There were accusations against them being racist and discriminative towards their models of color. I guess I wanted to see if they were cancelled enough for it to actually effect the company, which it didn't. Then I saw they stream on whatnot...that was my true downfall lol! 

I am currently an addict of the whatnotty, mainly because I love to feel like I'm getting a "steal", but also because I love the act of shopping/receiving mail 😅. I think the apparent amount of diversity they had in their stream hosts [possibly to pander to people like me lol], I decided to watch longer to see what deals could be had. Then... they brought out shoes. 

It was truly the end of my resolve, and ended up winning two shoe auctions. Those were followed by another three auctions of some really cute shit I was super excited to receive. Especially since I'd won the lots for such low amounts. Sadly, when my boxes came in the mail...only the shoes were correct. The most devastating thing was to open up that second box, expecting to see a cute ass shizz, only to find the ugliest of pieces. 

Left is what I won, and right is what they sent. I thought I had a picture of all of the items, but must have deleted it in anger. The thing that made me the angriest, was seeing that cheap/ugly cowboy hat. I remembered them running all of these items, and truly saying to myself "oh wow, I don't even want that for $1".

I want to say that maybe they mixed up the orders....but honestly how? The order form shows the names for the things I won...which were nowhere near the items they sent me. I lowkey believe they saw how cheap I was getting the items for and just swapped em out since the refund would most likely cost less. I also have two other orders on the way...which I ordered prior to getting my shit-box, so I was still happily supporting the whatnot part of the company. Crossing my fingers that they don't do the same with these items. I'm waiting for my refund to be complete before I give them the one stars they deserve, but here are the shoes won: 

To help calm me down, I started walking around in the Ying-Yang shoes since they were actually comfortable. I don't know what fairy silliness I plan to do with the grass shoes, but I'm going to rock both of these.

Luckily, whatnot has decent enough refund services. I made tickets for all three items, and just had to take photos of what they sent me to start the process. I did have to wait for the DK account to actually accept the refund and send me a return label, but boy did I get them packed back up soon as that label hit [literally sent it to me like 3-4 days after the tickets were made]. Soon as my last orders arrive, I don't think I'll be falling prey to the company again. Unless I find a piece secondhand or something.

✨ Worlds 2025 Pikachu Promo ✨

✨ Hello lovely beings ✨

Were you able to snag up one of the Pikachu promos for the Worlds championship this year? I moved in for the kill soon as I saw the post on Pokemon Center's website. There were a couple plush keychains I' been eyeing anyways, so there was no better time than now! Luckily I acted fast, because they apparently sold out not too long after I placed my order 😅.

They truly seemed not to care about how these bad boys were shipped out. I've heard many a horror story. And plenty I've heard came worse than mine. The worst story so far has been of how it was folded into the box closure, and since it was only put in a card sleeve, came folded and utterly destroyed. 

One last minor gripe....I had no clue the Cave Sweet Home keychains didn't come with a keychain clasp, only a loop for me to add one of my own. Come on PKC....y'all can cough up a lobster clasp! I digress, especially since I'm still happy with my promo and keychains 😄. I do hope that they end up making more of the Cave Sweet Home style of keychains. I think the squished flat Pokémon are just too cute!

I am sad I didn't also pick up the McDonalds packs when I first saw them for $11 each....now they're like $25+ for just the pika promo 😭🍔💔

National Girlfriend Day 2025 🌺

Late posting about this, but life did life thangs and ya girl got caught up 😅. Let's enjoy it now anyways! I actually had no clue that August first was National girlfriend day. I'm not sure if my BB knew either, but he still came through big time! Coincidentally, Gamestop had a drop for their Victini boxes, and I absolutely needed that promo+jumbo full art combo. I was stuck at work, and legit starting to get extra snippy with my coworkers...when a facetime call came in.

During a super omega mini break, BB rushed to his nearest Gamestop and was able to snag their last box! Look at the smile on her face, yall 🥹💞✨

We opened it up that evening, along with some of the tech sticker collections, and a couple Twighlight Masquerade we were able to get. Nothing too crazy, but as long as we can add even one card to our PCs it's a win.

New Additions to the Tomonui Collection 🧸✨

✨ Hello lovely beings✨

I've recently added a couple anime cuties to my ever-growing collection of adorable Tomonui plush!

Currently, I have a good bit of the My Hero Academia ones, as well as a handful from Attack on Titan. Oh! and a good bit of the ones from Naruto. I think I may have one or two from Demon Slayer, but Mother dearest has the majority. I'm too excited that I get to add Kaiju No.8 and DanDanDan cuties to the collection!

 I was able to scoop up a Kikoru in her normal Tomonui size. This isn't actually the first Kikoru tomonui I've owned, but since I gifted the first one to a friend a new one was needed stat! I think the details are so good, still making it look damn near just like she hopped out that anime. I'm not sure how many I'll pick up from the Kaiju line. I've seen Kafka and haven't been all that excited for anyone other than lil miss Shinomiya. Onto DanDaDan!

This set is actually from their chibi line, accurately named "chibinui". They're an even more adorable smaller size than the usual Tomonui. measuring at about 3.5 inches. This set came with Momo Ayase, Okarun [Ken Takakura vers.], Turbo Baabaa, and Aira Shiratori. I just need to find a JiJi [both forms], Okarun in his transformed version, and Aira transformed and I'll be a happy camper!

Quick fast and in a hurry, have already added Momo and Okarun to my current daily bag. Turbo Baabaa will have a home with my BB, and Aira has found solace at home above my desk . I wonder if they've made ones for a human suit Serpoian, and the mantis shrimp dude and Chiquitita. If so...they too are a must! I'm excited to see which other characters they end up dropping in the coming seasons. Kirikou has been added to my Journal bag with my Big energy Lafufu because they just seemed so right together. Don't you think 😆?

🪻Atl Botanical Garden Date: Atlanta Blooms!🪻

 Hello lovely beings

Though I'm posting this supah-omega late, BB and I were still able to make it just in the nick of time to enjoy the Atlanta Blooms display at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Atlanta Blooms was on display from March-April 30th, and we made it in on the 26th. I'd been to the Gardens before, and we'd gone together in Winter. It was nice to see the blooms with BB for Spring too!

Ya girl had to show out a wee bit. I love getting all cute for dates with BB, and his appreciation makes it worth it all the more! Picked up this ditsy floral dress at a Ross stop, and even put on a little lippy for the occasion. All accompanied by my sling bag and a pair of eurosoft sandals 💞

Finished up the day with dinner at one of our favorite burger joints, Village Burger 🍔✨

 It's always nice being treated how I want to be treated by a partner, and this day was no different! Though it was quite the warm, we still had so much fun! It's hard not to  with this guy  💞. The next/current exhibition should be the Alice's Wonderland installation. I've been once before, but would love to go with BB this Fall!
