Halloween Comicfest 2024 🎃

It's Halloween Comicfest!

Last year, I believe we may have made it to a couple of our LCS. This year I decided to get all clowned up, especially since one of our favs was having contests and deals! Dr. Nos not only had discounts on backstock, they also had a costume contest for a chance to win some comic $$$. A full body wolverine costume won, but I still enjoyed being out and about as Afro-Penny🎈🤡  Onto the picked up goods!

Super exciting picks! I had no clue at all that Where Monsters Lie had a second series coming out, labeled with the subtitle of Cull-De-Sac. I fully enjoyed the first four issue series, and already can't wait to dive into this one! Sick cover too, of course lol.

Also snagged the Know Your Station TPB at the amazing price of 75 whole percent off! I have issues 1-2 in my collection, but the trade makes me feel like I have more space for other things now lol!

Giving wee lil spotlight to this absolute gem of a comic. Storm issue #1 but the gold foil variant cover, by Jerome Opena.

Picked up while we were perusing Dr. Nos. Which is funny, because BB and I also scooped up two other variants while we were picking up goodies at Syndicate 😂. 

Jeehyung Lee for me, and Marco Checchetto Doom variant for BB! It was hard for me not to pick up a Doom variant as well, but having three different variants of the same comic in my personal collection seemed bananas 😅!
