2nd Chance Toys

BB and I finally decided that we took enough time away from stopping into 2nd Chance Toys in Marietta. The mini hiatus wasn't for anything negative, we just frequented the shop a lot due to it being right next to one of our favorite comic book stores. Definitely gave them some time to get some new goodies in that we haven't seen yet!

The owners remembered us, and gave us a warm welcome back. My memory bank can't quite remember if that cutie has always been the designated guard dog/greeter, but if he is new he's just as adorable and sweet. Along with a little taste of what kind of action figures and super hero merch you might find in your visit. It was hard leaving some of those Kaiju figures there!

My favorite section is the anime merch area, which is directly to the right when you walk in. Once again....so many fricken cute figures I wanted to take home with me! I stayed disciplined, and ended up only picking out one blind box.

When we went to pay the cashier, and he saw me eyeing the Robocop booster packs. I honestly just though the fact that RoboCop had booster packs was cool, and was trying to get BB's attention to show him. The cashier...let us have one for the free!

One of the workers is also the lead singer of a band, and they had flyers for an upcoming show. We took one, planning to go, but we ended up being too tired to make it.

Lady Tsunade?! That is a very happy reaction! I initially thought I'd only end up with one of the gals shown on the box, so I was pleasantly surprised when Lady Tsunade was who was actually within 🥰. I would have been okay with almost any of them, but am actually more happy that I got to pull an adult. She's going to look so good sitting on my desk.

Now you know we couldn't wait to crack this bad boy open! We definitely opened him up as soon as we got back to the car. This is a Topps set from 1990, a couple years before my presence graced this earth. The packaging is very similar to what old bubble gum wrappers felt like. It does make some sense since you receive a stick of gum along with each pack. Absolutely threw that 35 year old gum away, lol. Each pack is supposed to give you a chance to pull 9 cards along with a sticker card. We got some pretty memorable scenes in our pack, but also ended up with 2 stickers instead of one! The back side of the stickers also end up being a puzzle if you're able to collect them all.

Hopefully the photos have convinced you enough to pay them a visit, but if you need a recommendation from ya girl too, get your booty down there for some fire vintage collectible finds!
