✨ Hello lovely beings ✨
Fully blaming my child-of-the-90s membership for my love of collecting things. I've even allowed myself to be titled a Collector of Collections, since my favorited bits range from "so many" categories. With that comes the need to refresh whats in my from time to time, making sure I'm only keeping things that I absolutely love from each respected fandom. It helps my brain believe that I'm not hoarding, but materialistically appreciating lol. This is where Mercari shines for me. They have their pros and cons, but they've been the most user friendly of the resell platforms. Every purchase helps make room for my chases, and gets each goodie to their rightful home.

✨ All the goodies rehomed for Jan so far ✨

Ah yes, collecting! Nice to see they sold well! how are you able to decide which things you can let go of?
ReplyDeleteSometimes, they're victims of my current hyperfixation. Once it wears off, it's easier to pick things that seem like they don't fit what I want for my fandoms anymore. It usually takes a good handful of years if it's something I've decided is a fav though. Other times, I just start feeling like I have toooo much lol! If it's something that's been out of sight out of mind, then it's easier to say bye bye to. TCG is def the hardest if it's already made it to my binders LOL, but the same process. If I look at the art and it doesn't give my heart butterflies then it can go. If it takes me too long to take it out of the sleeve then it'll probably stay a little longer 😅
